FedEx Solar PV System at Madrid Barajas Airport.

FedEx decided to get solar energy via a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Bright Sunday. This means FedEx will receive clean, renewable energy directly from a solar PV system on their roof without the need to make the investment or arrange for insurance, maintenance, monitoring, etc. Bright Sunday takes care of everything, and FedEx just pays for the electricity. This way, FedEx can focus on its core operations while simultaneously reducing its carbon emissions and energy costs.

The solar PV system will generate  approximately 95 megawatt hours of electricity annually. This output will cover an estimated 17% of the energy needs of the premises, contributing to reducing dependency on conventional grid power and reducing carbon emissions.

This is a preliminary assessment. Depending on site conditions and financial feasibility, we may not proceed. Final pricing and conditions will be detailed in a formal agreement if the project moves forward.
