Montfrisa get solar energy using Bright Sunday PPA because it allows them to allocate the financial resources directly to our core business.

Montfrisa warehouses have the latest technology and are among the most modern in Spain, with a total storage capacity of 59,280 pallets at -25ºC. Montfrisa has an area of ​​more than 190,000m3 under controlled temperature. 

In Madrid (Getafe) and Valencia (Algemesí) the roofs have solar PV panels operated by Bright Sunday.

The estimated yearly solar energy production is 2,100,000 kWh per year. 

The clean-tech engineering company Konery did the installation.

Montfrisa was founded in 1919 in Lugo (Galicia). Its original name was “Montaña”; because, in its beginnings, it was focusing on transporting passengers and products between the valleys and mountains of Galicia. 

Montfrisa currently have a storage capacity of more than 58,600 pallets in Madrid, Barcelona, Vigo, Bilbao, Seville and Valencia. With 28 collaborators in the Iberian Peninsula, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, as well as in Portugal and France.
