Bright Sunday launches Solar Cashback: Release cash invested in existing solar.

Insights News

Bright Sunday has introduced “Solar Cashback,” a solution that transforms existing company-owned solar installations into immediate cash while ensuring professional and efficient operation of the solar PV system with continuous access to clean energy.

New solution

A sales leaseback solution

Through this business model, Bright Sunday acquires solar installations, offering owners immediate payment for their assets. Simultaneously, businesses continue to benefit from clean energy generation via long-term, flat-price Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) giving businesses predictable electricity bill savings. The solution is similar to sales leaseback.

In addition to the financial boost, the Solar Cashback solution  provides professional and continuous management of the solar PV system, ensuring long-term performance. Bright Sunday is a company that completely focuses on managing solar PV systems in the most efficient way. Bright Sunday takes full responsibility for the monitoring, operation and maintenance of the installation, freeing businesses from operational work and potential technical concerns while ensuring optimal system performance.

“In our mission to offer sustainable solutions, we are introducing Solar Cashback, a model designed to generate immediate cash for our clients. We give them the opportunity to maximize the value of their initial investment and at the same time  eliminate the operational burden of managing the PV system such as coordinating maintenance, cleaning, insurance, monitoring and reinvestments. We take all technical risks. At the same time, they keep their access to fossil free energy and continue with their decarbonization commitments,” says Niklas Engström, CEO of Bright Sunday.

The Solar Cashback solution also offers customers flexibility – the company can decide to buy back the system at any time, and at the end of the agreement, they have the right to purchase the solar PV system for only €1 – with the system still delivering electricity for decades to come.
